Migration end of unit blog

Kia ora this blog topic that i am blogging about is migration, this is the topic we have been doing for this term. My understanding of migration is the way that people leave and what changes and how it changes. Migration is when people move to other places. My understanding of place is the different types of nationalities and their different languages that they might have. My understanding of change is how it would be different when you are in a different country that you pick up on and your ways of the past are not the same as now.

In the things that we do with the river bend we have to find out what changes there are from moving from one place to another and if it's a good or bad thing.

Well not everyone stays or wants to stay in the same old place, but there are good reasons like myself. I wasn't born in New Zealand. I was born and raised in Australia for six years but we left and came into a better environment to grow up in. This topic was challenging in my learning because I would get confused or think twice to make sure that the way that they migrated was the way it was in the story.

I think that the way that it supported me in my learning was that part of learning how to walk through the way of migration and how different it is for some to others.

I think that out of the overall topic it was amazing to find out about Kupe the naming of Aotearoa the migration within my whanau and the riverbend, my own push and pull really helped me understand how migration goes.

the balaclava story

This word art is about a story we read and the name is The Balaclava Story, a balaclava is this type of mask that goes over your face. This story is about this boy that doesn't have a balaclava and he got left out. One time he went to the restroom and he saw a balaclava, without thinking about it he took it.  As soon as he gets out of the restroom he thinks he put it in his jacket but he didn't know he put it in the pocket of the owner.  On his way home he runs so none of his friends would know that he took the balaclava. When he got home he started to think of what could happen if they knew he took the balaclava.  The next day comes and he is very scared that he might get caught for taking a balaclava, but when they didn't talk about it he asks Norbet the one owns it "Did you lose your balaclava?" he said "Yes, but then the one who took it put it in my jacket."
